The Slide Stock Assist is a simple device that attaches to a slide stock for extremely rapid, consistent follow up shots. There are no special tools or modifications required for installation, and no additional parts such as full-auto bolt carrier groups or trigger modifications are necessary. This product is a recreational firearm accessory. It is designed to be used only with:
A Slide Fire Solutions compatible slide stock
An AR-15 rifle platform
The higher rate of follow-up shots means that your firearm likely needs to be run with more oil than usual. It also needs to be cleaned much more frequently. Although the Slide Assist is designed to be heavy enough in weight to function with mil-spec triggers, these trigger retaining pins may begin to work out under high rate of fire. All of the above can cause misfires and jamming issues if not kept in mind.
It may be necessary to adjust the gas block as well. The heavier weight of the Slide Assist is designed to work with .556 ammunition, and lower pressure .223 may not function. Optimal results may be obtained with a clean and well lubricated gun, lighter trigger weights, and higher pressure loads such as .556.
